Chili Peppers:

Ingredients:

• 2 pounds ground turkey
• 1/2 teaspoon chipotle powder
• Salt to taste, about 2 1/2 teaspoons
• Chipotle burger dressing (recipe below)
• Lettuce, tomato and onion if desired

 

Instructions:

Preheat the grill to high. Evenly sprinkle chipotle powder and salt onto ground turkey and mix thoroughly. Form the meat into 4 (8-ounce) burgers leaving an indent in the middle of the burgers to help them cook evenly. Grill the chipotle turkey burger until cooked through, about 3 to 4 minutes on each side. While the burgers are cooking toasted the buns, prepare the chipotle burger dressing, and slice tomatoes & onions. Once the turkey burgers are cooked, construct the burgers and serve immediately. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup mayonnaise
• 1/4 teaspoon chipotle powder or 1/2 teaspoon if you really like it spicy
• 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
• 2 teaspoon finely chopped cilantro leaves
   

Instructions:

Mix all ingredients in a small bowl and refrigerated covered until just prior to use. This chipotle burger dressing can be made up to 24 hrs. in advance and will actual allow the flavors meld and come together. This chipotle dressing will last must longer in the refrigerator if the minced cilantro is left out until the day or so before its used.
